Playing in the mud

Stage 15: Ins to Estavayer-du-lac (32,75 km) 

The specificity in my wishes apparently worked - no more rain. Todays stage takes me through the Grande Cariçaie, a nature reserve along the coast of lake Neuchatel.

I, being ignaorant as always, did not check beforehand what nature is being preserved here though. Turns out it is not (only) birds, but the largest marshland in Switzerland. Which means, I get to hike through mud most of the day. Which turned out to be a lot of fun.

Somewhere along the way I pass the 500km mark. So far, so good.

I also get treated with more lake views than yesterday. Overall, a pleasant day.
